Model ELT-10 Tiltmeter is applicable to measure the tilt changing value of concrete dams, soil dams, rock dams and so on hydraulic structure. It is also applicable for measuring the tilt of civil construction work, road, bridge, tunnel, embankment, soil pit, etc. And it can conveniently realize the automation of the measurement. The tiltmeter is durable with full stainless steel structure. And it is attached with the adjusting and fixing frameworks for easy installation. This tiltmeter has the intelligent identification function.

3 Theory of Operation
3.1 Constitution
Model ELT-10 Tiltmeter consists of tilt transducer, installation framework, signal transmission cable, etc.
3.2 Mechanism
The tilt deformation generated from the structure is transferred to the tilt transduced via the installation framework. In the transducer there are electrolyte and the conductive contact. When there is tilt, the liquid level of the electrolyte will be kept as horizontal. But the conductive contact relative to the level is changed so that the output electricity value is changed.
3.3 Calculation
The tilt angle and the output electricity value F have the following relationship when the measured structure has the tilted deformation:
