1Application
Model RT-1 Resistance Temperature Gauge is applicable to be embedded inside or at the surface of hydraulic structures or other geotechnical engineering structures to measure the inner or surface temperature of structures. The measured values are directly displayed as Celsius temperature values by using the model VW-102A Vibrating Wire Readout Box or Model MCU-32 Distributed Modularization Automation Measurement Unit. This temperature gauge made by stainless steel has a small size of 8 60 (mm). Besides, this quite durable gauge can be directly embedded in the concrete without any other protection.

3Theory of Operation
3.1 Constitution
Model RT-1 Resistance Temperature Gauge consists of temperature sensing component, stainless steel protecting tube, signal transmission cable, etc.
3.2 Mechanism
Inside the temperature gauge there is precise resistance temperature sensing component that can directly measure the resistance value with the changing of the temperature. Then the value is transmitted to the readout device via cable, then as a result the real-time measured Celsius temperature value is obtained and displayed.
Model RT-1 Temperature Gauge can be measured with Model VW-102A Readout Box. The value is displayed as Celsius value, thus there is no need for calculation converting. |
